This is an antique carved coffer. An English, oak linen chest or window seat, dating to the William III period, circa 1700.
Superb William III example with great colour and beautifully carved appearance
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout
Select antique oak presents fine grain interest and wisps of medullary rays
Pleasingly finished in gorgeous, rich caramel hues
Stout three-panel lid opening upon fascinating pin hinges
