A striking Flight, Barr & Barr period Worcester porcelain dessert plate with shaped gilt gadrooned rim. A bright apple green enamelled ground with shaped central reserve ornately framed with gilt scrolls and graduating dots. In the centre is a finely painted botanical specimen of a dodecatheon (or possibly an erythronium) in a bright pink with green and yellow and the detail picked out very delicately in black. Factory mark stamped to the reverse, c.1815-1819.

It measures 22.3cm (8 3/4") wide and 2.5cm (1") high.

In every good condition there is a shallow chip to the tip of one of the gadroons. No other damage or repair and only minor handling wear. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
